North Dallas is the area of the city that is generally north of Interstate 635 (commonly referred to at LBJ) and south of the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT). If you’re looking for easy access to the Dallas North Tollway, LBJ, and the PGBT, this is the spot for you. This neighborhood is kind of like a mixture of Carrollton, Addison, Allen, and a few other surrounding areas. North Dallas apartments are easy to find through a Smart City apartment locator. If you’re looking to be just outside the heart of the city, but still be within a 10 minute drive, then a North Dallas apartment might be the perfect one.
North Dallas is home to the famous Galleria that houses designer shopping, fine dining, and an ice skating rink with a glass-vaulted ceiling. There are over 200 stores and restaurants, and you can have your friends and family stay in style at the Westin Galleria Hotel. The mall usually holds fun events that are family friendly and there is always a good sale going on to burn a hole through your pocket! There are great restaurants, such as the Grand Luxe Café, which offers a huge menu, and Mi Cocina, to satisfy your Tex-Mex cravings. You also have your fine dining options such as the Melting Pot for fondue and Del Frisco’s for a good steak!
North Dallas is a great area for those transitioning from city living to suburban life. You will have access to all the suburbs have to offer, such as amazing shopping at Galleria and movie theaters. LOOK cinemas is by far the best theater in the area since they serve upscale food and drinks in their plush theater. There are plenty of chain restaurants in this area, but our favorite eatery is definitely the Maple Leaf Diner.
There are a few properties to choose from here that have a range of amenities from granite countertops to gorgeous resort style pools. Best of all, North Dallas is conveniently located close to Addison, so you will have easy access to all that area has to offer. You can also get anywhere in the DFW metroplex with ease since you are close to 635, 35, and the Tollway.
