Old Town is right in the middle of it all, sandwiched between Lincoln Park, River North, and Gold Coast, but still manages to feel like its own little pocket. It gives you easy access to the lake, downtown, and pretty much anything else you’d want. Most of the buildings here are mid rises, with a few high rises. Pricing is mid-to-high, depending on how updated the unit is and how close you are to the action. Wells Street is the main strip, with bars, restaurants, and the annual art fair, plus you’ve got North Avenue Beach, the lakefront trail, and Second City all within walking distance. You also get to be super close to the Green City Farmer’s Market in Lincoln Park plus Division Street Farmer’s Market.
