Living in Logan Square

Logan Square has that effortlessly cool, slightly indie vibe without trying too hard. It’s a neighborhood full of character, with leafy boulevards, locally-owned spots on every corner, and a mix of dive bars, cozy cafés, and some of the best food in the city. Some of our faves include Middle Brow, Gretel, Daises, Lula Cafe & a TON more we could talk about for hours. Most of the housing here is walk-up style and small courtyard buildings. There are only a couple high-rises in the area, so if you’re looking for a full amenity building, this probably isn’t your spot. Budgets can vary a lot, there are still some older, more affordable units, but prices definitely range. It’s super walkable and bike-friendly, with a big farmers market in the summer and events happening around Milwaukee Ave. If you’re into neighborhoods with a strong sense of community and a ton of personality, Logan’s got it for sure.
