Downtown Dallas is bustling with culture, history, top-rated restaurants, plenty of shopping, and cool green spaces. You’ll need a few separate days to get through the amazing museums Downtown — the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science are must-visits for every Dallasite.

What does the perfect Saturday look like as a Downtown Dallas resident? We love grabbing a coffee and Italian pastry at Palmieri before checking out the stalls at the Farmers Market. If the weather is right, spending time at Klyde Warren Park is a favorite pastime — get lunch at one of the many food trucks that line the edge of the green space, or join in on whatever community event happens to be happening that day. Live music, yoga classes, boot camps, book giveaways — there’s always something going on!

What’s for dinner? Live downtown and you can walk to some of the best restaurants Dallas has to offer. Other than the sweet food truck situation at Klyde Warren Park, you can have a divine burger at Chop House, or spend some serious money at Bob’s Steak House at the Omni Hotel. Satisfy your spicy cravings with some Tex-Mex food at El Fenix or check out the breathtaking view of downtown at Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty Restaurant. Either way, Downtown is the place to be for fine dining.
