West Dallas

Perfect for
Living in West Dallas
West Dallas is packed to the brim with character and contains the big 3 – Trinity Groves, Kessler Park, and Bishop Arts. The world of West Dallas lies right at the intersection of I-30 into the city. You’ll find several art installations, murals, and creative spirits in every spot you visit, as well as well-priced mid-rise apartments that may or may not have some funky finishes you won’t find anywhere else in the city.
Once you hit the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge from Downtown and enter into Trinity Groves, you’ll get arguably some of the best views of the skyline from afar. You’re met by the Trinity Skyline Trail and Art Park, an outdoor beer garden with tons of great eats, art murals, and live music. Farther down I-30, you’ll also find tons of great shops and entertainment including, another Round and TEN Ramen. There’s also talks of Dallas’s own Central Park breaking ground soon and Harold Simmons Park, a 250 acre urban nature park, also broke down in April 2025. This is a popular spot for renters due to its affordability while also having access to walkability and future projects on the horizon.
On the opposite side of I-30 from Trinity Groves right before you hit the infamous Bishop Arts is Kessler Park, mostly residential but includes several parks and the Stevens Park Golf Course. But the main attraction within West Dallas, is Bishop Arts, one of the most diverse and artistic neighborhoods within Dallas. From finding your next fashion staples at Jowa, catching a DJ set at LadyLove, vibing at First Saturdays at La Reunion, and eating at the Michelin Recommended Written by the Seasons, every corner of Seventh street and beyond is sure to keep you entertained.
Rent prices definitely reflect the exclusivity of the neighborhood, paired with its great walkability, and if you like plain finishes, you won’t find them here. Don’t be surprised if your cabinet doors are traded for linen curtains, your bathroom tile is blue, or if the pendant lighting in your place looks like it’s from the future. You’re not the closest to your chain grocery stores, so you’ll find yourself taking a hike for anything you can’t find at CVS. Standard amenities like a pool and a gym aren’t as common here, since the apartments around here are boutique-style properties. But hey… that’s one payment you’re not having to worry about! And besides, your walkability to every popular coffee shop, happy hour event, and trending fashion piece is the true draw of living in Bishop Arts!
