West 7th

Perfect for
Living in West 7th
If you’ve ever visited Fort Worth, chances are someone took you to West 7th. This is one of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods and the heart of Fort Worth’s nightlife (second only to the Stockyards). It’s busy, buzzing, and sometimes congested, but that’s because it’s packed with retail, dining, and entertainment at every turn.
Here you’ll find staples like Target, Terry Black’s BBQ, and Montgomery Plaza. You’re just minutes from Downtown Fort Worth via 7th Street, and you can easily catch a concert at Dickies Arena before bar-hopping along West 7th. The next day, stroll over to the nearby Cultural District, home to the Modern Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum, and the Kimbell Art Museum.
Head five minutes up University Drive and you’ll discover some of Fort Worth’s best high-end retail, from Kendra Scott and Williams Sonoma to the Apple Store. This same stretch also takes you to the Fort Worth Zoo and straight into TCU territory. Where things get very purple, very quick (go Frogs!).
Needless to say, West 7th is one of the most popular and dynamic places to live. Expect around $1,500+ for a one-bedroom apartment in West 7th Fort Worth. Many buildings here are older, which sometimes helps keep rates reasonable, but the competition and central location keep it on the higher end.
For newcomers to the city, apartments near West 7th are an incredible way to experience everything: nightlife, restaurants, museums, concerts, and shopping. It’s the perfect neighborhood to pick up a hobby, host friends, and truly live out the fun of a Fort Worth lifestyle.
