In Northeast Atlanta, Virginia Highland is best known for its upscale eateries, charming storefronts, affluent homes, and historic landmarks. Largely residential and made up almost entirely of single-family homes, Virginia Highland has just a very small selection of apartments. Renters can expect to pay a premium for renting in this neighborhood because of its limited availability.

Caffeine, good food and drinks aren’t hard to come by here. Virginia Highland is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars. Residents often enjoy brunch (checkout Murphy’s Restaurant!), live music and drinks with friends on dog-friendly patios.

A lot can be accomplished on foot or by bike in this close-knit community rich with dining, entertainment and retail opportunities. However those looking for public transport will be disappointed to find no convenient access to MARTA trains in the neighborhood, although MARTA buses are reachable on Highland and Virginia Avenue.
