Living in Golden Triangle

Uncommonly known, the Denver neighborhood that lies between Speer, West Colfax, and Broadway, forming a triangle from a bird’s-eye view, is none less than Denver’s Golden Triangle. It’s claimed that the area got its name as a nod to the Denver Art Museum, Denver Public Library, and the various civic buildings in the area, but if you ask us, it’s because it triangulates three of Denver’s most golden neighborhoods: Cap Hill, Baker, and Downtown. Centering at the core of Denver’s culture, the Golden Triangle is a lively, well-visited pocket of the city that truly offers it all. From Leven Deli to Civic Center Park to its newest addition, Schoolyard Beer Garden, you’re only steps from desirable spots that attract people from all over the state. For the active city-dweller, hit up your apartment gym or explore Denver climbing gyms like Movement Baker and The Spot in a pinch.

With that comes the price of limited street parking, over-priced garages, and heavily trafficked streets. And we’ll be fully transparent, you can expect consistent traffic on Speer and Broadway during rush hours. Still, luckily, most buildings don’t lie directly on those streets, alleviating that issue for many residents. On the other side, you get excellent transit access in return, making it a great option for the always-on-the-go individual. Considering the Golden Triangle is a blend of historic buildings converted into apartments and newer mid-rise complexes, you can find just about any living situation here.
