THE AWARD-WINNING CAMPO VERDE CHRISTMAS RESTAURANT

We can’t talk about the holidays without talking about the year-round Christmas-decorated restaurant in Arlington, Campo Verde. It’s truly a sight to see with every inch of the walls covered in 12,000 lights, 2 model trains, 50 Santas, and 30 Christmas trees! The restaurant has won multiple awards for their over the top Christmas display and it’s the ultimate way to get in the spirit of the holidays.

HOTEL DROVER CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

The west Texas-inspired hotel in the Stockyards is kicking off the holiday season this Friday, November 26th with their Christmas tree lighting celebration with carolers, festive treats, boozy hot cocoa, and plenty of cheer.

Can’t make the celebration? The hotel will be a cozy place all season long with firefits, festive drinks and eats, and photo opps through January 2nd.

TCU CHRISTMAS TRADITION

Calling all horn frog fans! Join TCU and fellow fans at The Commons on campus on November 30th at 6:30pm for a TCU-themed Christmas celebration. See the lighting of their 40-foot tree, meet SuperFrog Santa, enjoy a concert, and a fireworks show.

20TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN THE STOCKYARDS

The annual Christmas in the Stockyards all day event is December 4th. Get the family together and head to the historic district for live music, festive games, photo opps with Cowboy Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, and a Christmas parade through cattle drive. Beyond Saturday, the district will be a sight to see with lighting and festive decor strung through the trees and alleys.

MIRACLE POP UP BAR

We love all the Christmas-themed bars and are so excited the nationwide Miracle pop-up is coming to Fort Worth! Starting November 26th, restaurant and bar Nickel City will transform into a winter wonderland with tasteful Christmas decor, themed cocktails, and an instagrammable evening.

HOLIDAYS AT SUNDANCE SQUARE

The 50,000-square-foot entertainment, retail, and restaurant district in Downtown Fort Worth is the perfect place for the family to spend an evening together. Awe at the 50-foot tree with 10,000 lights and ornaments, stroll the shops, listen to live music, and dine at one of the 20 restaurants.

FIRST EVER HOLIDAY WONDERLAND AT THE FORT WORTH ZOO

We are so excited for this one! One of the best zoos in the country is transforming into a Texas winter wonderland every Saturday and Sunday through December 19. The first ever Texas WIld! Wonderland will include a Texas-style holiday market with holiday-themed shows, festive treats, Santa photo opps, and falling SNOW.

GIFT OF LIGHTS SHOW AT THE SPEEDWAY
Stay cozy in the comfort of your car at the Texas Motor Speedway annual Gift of Lights drive-thru light show. Drive through 2 miles of 500 light displays with a million lights, Santa’s village with snacks and drinks, and even see Santa himself! The experiential light show continues through January 2nd.

MODERN LIGHTS AT THE MODERN ART MUSEUM

One of our favorite museums in the metroplex transforms into a spirited destination with a gorgeous light display throughout the property and fun events including Dinner with Lights on Friday nights, Lights, Flights, and Bites on Tuesdays, and don’t forget free admission every Friday.

INTERLOCHEN LIGHTS EXTRAVAGANZA

If you’re looking to just oo and ahh over christmas lights, head to Lake Interlochen neighborhood in Arlington for a community tradition unlike any other! For 40 years, the families and homes in the neighborhood go all out with light displays. It’s a great free event to do with the family and spend an evening soaking in the Christmas spirit.

HOLIDAY IN THE PARK AT SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS

Six Flags Over Texas is always a fun, family-friendly experience no matter the holiday! The amusement park does a great job with decorating and bringing magic to the park with Santa’s reindeer flying through the sky, nightly tree lighting shows, Santa appearances, a variety of holiday performances, carolers, and of course delicious treats like s’mores and hot chocolate stands throughout the park. Holiday at the Park continues through January 2nd.
