Does anyone else feel like April was virtually non-existent? We definitely felt like it flew by. But when we took a look at the number of people we helped find apartments, it was over 350 (that’s about a hundred more we helped in April 2019)!! For us, that number represents how many clients we were able to create a sense of normalcy for when it came to their apartments in Houston. Even with in-person touring off the table, we secured and sent enough virtual assets to help our clients feel acquainted with their new spaces and make a decision about moving that was comfortable to them.

That being said, we also debuted more than 20 units with amazing price-for-location and price-for-finishes on our social media channels. Pricing is affected by all sorts of things in Houston, the main being inner and outer-loop locations, so we wanted to give you a comprehensive list of the best deals throughout the metroplex so you can easily gauge what’s realistic and what’s not when it comes to apartment deals in Houston. We get it – you like to do your own research and we’re here for it! To make it a little easier to understand what great pricing looks like right now in Houston, here’s a lineup of all the April deals we featured.

A deal’s a deal, but we all have our favorites…

April 11 – Updated unit in Midtown for under $1k, One-bedroom unit – $975

Typically, being in the middle of everything, aka Midtown, can cost a renter a pretty penny, but not in this case! This unit was perfect for someone who wants that urban lifestyle on a budget – someone who is all about the location without the price tag. To further sweeten the pot, this was an updated unit at a property that has two pools and is walking distance to so many great Midtown spots, like Cyclone Anaya’s and Nekter.

April 15 – High-end property in the Galleria, One-bedroom unit – $1,158

One-bedroom units at a property this nice start around $1.5k and go up from there, so establishing a Smart City negotiated deal that resulted in our clients paying almost $400 less per month is amazing! The property is known for having luxe finishes like NEST, gas ranges, and gorgeous wood floors. Plus, it’s right across the street from The Galleria (wave good morning to your neighbor, Nordstrom). When it comes to price-for-location, you really can’t beat this if the Galleria is where you want to be!

April 29 – The BEST price for roomies in Montrose, Two-bedroom unit – $1,755

Montrose is probably one of the most desirable neighborhoods when it comes to living in Houston. The community is vibrant and home to a number of local mom-and-pop cafes and shops, and city staples, which makes sense as to why pricing can be a little on the higher side. So, when we found this two-bedroom unit at a property in the heart of Montrose for under $1.9k per month, we had to share! Gorgeous finishes in super-bright units placing tenants just a short stroll from everything Westheimer has to offer with a zipcode zoned to a recognized school district (in case that’s important to you as a renter) – yeah, we’re about it!

Something to keep in mind when viewing our favorite units we posted in April is that they fly off the market relatively fast!
