The Best Desserts In Dallas That Will Ruin Your Summer Bod!
There are very few things we love more than sweets. Actually, we can’t think of anything we like more than sweet. Whether it’s cake, pie or even ice cream covered in potato chips, it’s all good to us. Here are our favorite desserts in Dallas!
Emporium Pies in the Bishop Arts District
You are bound to end up at Emporium Pies if you are having dinner in Bishop Arts. And when you end up there, you will be so happy because you will be indulging in some of the best pies in Dallas. The Drunken Nut is a version of the Texas pecan pie and it’s loaded with pecans, bourbon, brown sugar, and butter. It’s by far our favorite pie on their rotating menu.
Cake Bar at Trinity Groves
There are plenty of great places to have dinner in Trinity Groves but the place place to grab dessert is at Cake Bar. Think a small bar but filled with a huge assortment of cakes. The made-from-scratch cake is delicious and worth the $5 for the huge slice. We recommend the wedding cake or the key lime. Yum!
CoolHaus Food Truck at Klyde Warren Park
This dessert is everything. The combinations of cookie and ice cream are practically endless, as is Coolhaus’ creativity with their flavors. Try the snickerdoodle cookie option with the salted caramel ice cream. There are literally no bad options.
Remedy on Lower Greenville
Dark chocolate ice cream. Caramel. Whipped cream. Potato Chips. “The Bob” ice cream sundae is basically what all our dreams are made of. We ordered this and we literally couldn’t even eat the whole thing. It’s that big and delicious. Worth the expensive price tag for so much goodness. Remedy is where it’s at!
