Cons

Due to its central location, traffic during rush hour is the WORST.

Even though this neighborhood is 13 miles north of central Dallas it still has quite the Bougie/Uptown feel and we love it. It is the best spot if you want to live in a walkable area without having to live in the city.

Addison Circle is the hot spot to be where you can walk to get a drink and some food after work. There are plenty of annual events that draw thousands of people to the area, including Kaboom Town’s fireworks show for 4th of July, as well as the Taste of Addison, a showcase for local eats. Addison apartments tend to stay similar in price to Dallas neighborhoods, but you might be able to get a little more square footage for your buck. Although this area is considered a suburb of Dallas, it does not have a suburb feel at all!

There are tons of restaurants and bars, like Kenny’s Woodfired Grill, that are the perfect spots to grab food and drinks after work with your friends. If you’re looking for nightlife, definitely check out Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar or the Flying Saucer! For a change of pace, there is also the infamous Addison Improv. It’s a cool place for a fun date night or just to go with friends, and they serve food!

Living in an Addison apartment will get you closer to all of these great spots and you’ll have easy access to Downtown via the tollway! If you’re looking for a spot in Addison, Smart City Apartment Locating can definitely help you find the perfect spot!

Don’t just take our word for it. See what our friends say!

I can get all the night life I want in this foodie heaven, and do it without ever leaving the suburbs!
