This popular Fort Worth neighborhood, best known as the home of Texas Christian University, is made up of both high-energy, college adjacent experiences and leisurely free time. With a rich football history and the Amon G. Carter Stadium, football is king. From September to January, expect busy Friday nights when the community goes out to get pumped up for game day, and college football filled Saturdays.

The intersection of South University Boulevard and West Berry Street has a handful of chain and local restaurants, but for more diverse options check out Blue Bonnet Circle hosting American and European restaurants, and pizza of course! There are plenty of nearby pubs and sports bars where both students and professionals get together, as well as some taverns and bars along South Hulen Street. During the weekends, the crowds mostly party along South University Drive and West Berry Street.

If you’re more of a “take it easy and picnic” person, visit any one of the area’s green spaces and parks, or go visit The Fort Worth Zoo located northwest of TCU.
