Arboretum neighborhood is considered the “New Austin” and is located in the northwest portion of the city. We love this area because it’s a bustling and trendy community full of everything Austin has to offer. The location of the Arboretum neighborhood is the perfect balance between the suburbs and the city, and is just moments away from the gorgeous Texas Hill Country and stunning views of Lake Austin! Nestled among beautiful hills, the Arboretum is a hidden gem in the city of Austin.

Known for its booming business industry, upscale shopping, contemporary housing, and a multitude of restaurants and bars, this ‘burb has everything you would ever need. Some of our favorite restaurants and bars here include Z’Tejas, Eddie V’s Restaurant, and Pour House Pint & Pies! The area is only five minutes from MoPac and grants easy access to almost any area of the city.

The Arboretum neighborhood is actually named after its open-air shopping mall that is a popular place frequented by thousands of residents of Austin. The Arboretum Shopping Center is an upscale mall that has top retailers like Sephora, Nine West, and The Bridesmaid Store. It is an area of the city that offers abundant shopping at some of the top retail names in the country, so seriously you can shop until you drop! This Austin neighborhood is great for shopping, dining, nightlife, and living! Apartments here are a little pricey compared to other areas of Austin, but the amenities and location are hard to beat.

Arboretum apartments come with great amenities, including parking garages, swimming pools, plush landscaping and more. For those who love the pizazz of Austin’s core but don’t want to live directly amid the hustle and bustle, our Arboretum properties offer just what you need. With easy access to I-35, 183 and Mopac, you can get anywhere you desire while living in the serene, lush surroundings of Austin’s Arboretum neighborhood.

There’s not much to dislike about living so close to Arboretum at Great Hills, either. The shopping center is prominent with its open-air ambiance, featuring a fountain garden, a number of open park spaces and wooded green areas, a sizable playground, a Renaissance Hotel, immense options for shopping and browsing, and other commercial establishments. Surrounded by amazing eateries, you’ll get the chance to choose from Asian, Indian, Southwestern, Seafood, American, Mexican or Austin’s favorite cuisine: barbecue. Food, shopping, entertainment, the outdoors and access to all of Austin spell out an undeniably amazing new home, and you have it all in Arboretum.

Don’t just take our word for it. See what our friends say!

More residential and older Austin feel! Great shopping, Trader Joes is right there, and it's also nature-y.
