UT Campus is the best spot to live if you’re a student or plan on attending the University of Texas. This area is populated mainly by college and grad students who are working or going school! Living on campus means you’ll be close to everything UT has to offer and getting to class won’t be a hassle! Although the UT Campus is small compared to other hoods in Austin, there’s an abundance of things to do and see.
There are tons of museums in the area, for all you art and history lovers! Popular museums on the UT Campus include the Bullock Texas State Museum, Blanton Museum of Art, and the Texas Memorial Museum. Also for lovers of music and theater, you can catch a show at the Bass Concert Hall!
Game day is huge on the UT campus and it’s something that the whole area participates in. Watch the Longhorns play at the Darrell K Royal Stadium (the largest stadium in the Big 12 Conference), and be sure to get there early because tailgating is an all day event! Apartments on UT campus are mostly student housing and tend to be a lot more expensive than other areas in Austin, but living here will be a great college experience.
