STREETERVILLE CHICAGO

Just north of the heart of downtown, Streeterville is a dense and fast-paced urban neighborhood with endless options for entertainment, making it a popular spot for tourists and residents alike. Whether you’re into shopping, eateries, nightlife, outdoor activities, or the arts, Streeterville has it all within walking distance.

TO DO IN STREETERVILLE

Streeterville is best known for Navy Pier, a former military training center that has been transformed into a major tourist destination featuring the iconic Centennial Wheel, along with shops, eateries, and beer gardens onsite. On the docks nearby, river cruise architecture tours and boozy boat rides route up the Chicago River for more incredible views of the city.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle this close to downtown’s tourist hotspots, but fortunately, Streeterville is pedestrian-friendly with tons of dining, drinking, and shopping options along the Magnificent Mile. The nearby Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Target will keep you stocked up on essentials. Rooftop restaurants and bars are highly concentrated in this area—you can’t beat having breathtaking views of the lake and skyline as the backdrop of your night out.

Speaking of views, Streeterville is home to downtown’s beach, Ohio Beach. Chill out and enjoy the unique views of high rises lining the water along Lake Shore Drive, or get your steps in along the pedestrian and bike-friendly Lakefront Trail that spans 18 miles along Lake Michigan.

If you’re the creative type, get pumped—you’ve got one of the largest contemporary art museums in the world in your neighborhood, the MCA. Fun fact: you can see an edition of the most expensive artwork sold by a living artist here—Jeff Koons’ Rabbit auctioned at a *casual* $91.1 million in 2019. Fair warning—it’s only three feet tall. The admission is free, though!

APARTMENTS IN STREETERVILLE
