Design District, Dallas
Convenient location on your wishlist? Nestled less than a mile west of bustling Downtown Dallas, the Design District has easy access to Interstate 35, Dallas North Tollway, and just a few minutes to Interstate 30. This old warehouse district has been transformed into a hip, newer community that is well-manicured and growing tremendously fast. The Design District is close to the American Airlines Center (where you can catch a Mav’s game or a Cher concert… whatever you’re into!) and right across the highway is Uptown, Victory Park, and Oak Lawn. Ubers are cheap, and the apartments are newer without the crazy price tag. Can’t beat that!
The Design District also houses a few of the city’s best restaurants, including Dallas’ first true gastropub Meddlesome Moth, which boasts 40 draught beers and at least 75 bottles (some say it’s the best beer menu in Dallas), as well as an awesome small plates menu. You can also take a short stroll over to Bowlounge and knock out some pins with your friends over some mouthwatering Twisted Root hamburgers. And if you’re in the mood to chill out, drink some coffee on a patio, and surf the net, walk over to Ascension Coffee.
