What Its Known For

The Design District is an emerging urban neighborhood catering to any combination of the work, live and play archetypes.
Well-balanced mix of industrial warehouses, art galleries, noteworthy restaurants, designers of all kinds, luxe retail, antique shops and event spaces.

Pros

Highly recommended restaurants and breweries
Lots of ways to stay busy: antique shopping, art shows, bowling, beer tasting, fine-dining, etc.
Conveniently close to Downtown and Victory Park

Cons

Not a lot of room to expand/develop new apartment properties
Frustrating traffic through construction-heavy areas
Lack of green spaces

There are a few reasons why you might want to make the move to the Design District, but most of all, this hot spot is known for its location. Nestled less than a mile west of bustling Downtown Dallas, you have easy access to Interstate 35, Dallas North Tollway, and just a few minutes for Interstate 30. Plus you’re just a mile from everything in Uptown. This old warehouse district has been transformed into a hip, newer community that is well manicured and growing tremendously fast. The Design District is close to the American Airlines Center (where you can catch a Mav’s game, or a Cher concert… whatever you’re in to!) and right across the highway is Uptown, Victory Park, and Oak Lawn. Ubers are cheap, and the apartments are newer without the crazy price tag. Can’t beat that!

The Design District also houses a few of Dallas’ best restaurants, including Meddlesome Moth, that boasts 40 draught beers and at least 75 bottles (some say it’s the best beer menu in Dallas), as well as an awesome small plates menu. Also add Rodeo Goat, Quill, and Oak (just to name a few) to your Dallas food bucket list.

You can also take a short stroll over to Bowlounge and knockout some pins with your friends over some mouthwatering Twisted Root hamburgers. And if you’re in the mood to chill out, drink some coffee on a patio, and surf the net, you can walk to Ascension Coffee. All the perks of living in a Design District apartment!

The Design District neighborhood has more of an urban feel with a slew of brand new properties offering great specials! With amenities like state of the art fitness centers, olympic size swimming pools, downtown hi-rise views, access to jogging trails, and custom finish outs… you really can’t go wrong here. With at least 3 properties built within the last few years, you have high energy efficient units and modern designs that anyone would be envious of. Plus, location is everything. Live in the heart of Dallas and do it in style in the Design District!

Don’t just take our word for it. See what our friends say!

Honestly, my favorite beer, bowling alley, antique shop and pizza are all found in the Design District. Not sure why I haven't moved there yet.
