Henderson Tap House has a more casual vibe but it can also get pretty wild. Those are the best ingredients for NYE, very little pressure mixed with a good time. They are hosting a roaring 20s New Year’s Eve party with a live DJ and it’s sure to kick off. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online. Dress up and enjoy $5,000 in cash and prizes throughout the night.
FREE NYE PARTY IN UPTOWN
If you are worried about committing to a specific location, a free event might be for you. That way you don’t have to commit to going out but you also don’t get mad FOMO. Henry’s Majestic is doing a completely free roaring 20s party with some jazzy DJ tunes until midnight and current hits after midnight. Feel the throwback vibes and then booty dance on strangers. If you’re in the mood to eat beforehand, make a reservation and try some of their delicious shared plates and sides.
HIDDEN SPEAKEASY IN DEEP ELLUM
You may assume Truth & Alibi is only selling sweet treats because of the candy shop storefront but if you mention their password, you’ll enter a secret speakeasy. Think creative muddled cocktails mixed with a colorful speakeasy atmosphere. $40 tickets include a champagne toast, balloon drop and party favors. Other packages are available to purchase online. Don’t forget that the password is “Resolution.”
DRESS TO IMPRESS MASQUERADE IN VICTORY PARK
Happiest Hour is hosting a masquerade party to ring in the New Year with a pair of DJs, two massive balloon drops, party favors and plenty of fun photo ops. Happiest Hour is pretty new and features a large patio and lounge area for guests to enjoy. Dress to impress in cocktail attire and don’t forget that a mask is a must. If you’re into dinner, a special three-course dinner menu is available for purchase. Ticket prices start at $35 and can be purchased online.
