An Open Letter To Smart City Acquaintances, Past, Present & Future

Dear Smart City clients and Dallas apartment leasing staff,

This is a thank you to all of you, whether we’ve worked with you previously, presently or, we hope, in the future. It’s the holiday season, AKA the perfect time to lay it all out there and share our gratitude for you beautiful people. We here at Smart City Apartment Locating absolutely love what we do, and a huge part of that is thanks to our relationships with our colleagues at apartment leasing offices and our clients.

It goes without saying that without y’all, we’d be nowhere. We wouldn’t be approaching our third year of business with booming numbers and a growing internal team. We wouldn’t be getting in slews of leads during even these so-called “slow months.” And we especially wouldn’t whole-heartedly love coming into the office and working our asses off to find Dallasites new apartments to call home. All of these things make us beyond stoked, especially as we gear up for a new year.

We have a little secret to success in our office, and, since it’s the holidays, we’d like to give you a sneak peek: We love people. Like, really, really love them. Buddy the Elf-status love. We love meeting new ones, we love helping them and we love becoming friends with them. That is precisely what we do with each and every client who calls into our office or walks in the front door. We talk with them, and more than that, we genuinely listen to exactly what each of our clients wants, whether it’s as specific as heated floors in bathrooms or as vague as preferring wood flooring in the kitchen. Whatever it is they want, we oblige, because we get it! We’ve each looked for a new home and understand the in-depth thought process involved. Getting to know our clients on this personal, friendship-based level is absolutely key to not only getting them into their ideal home, but also making it a crazy fun process for everyone involved.

Which leads us to our fantastic leasing agents at properties all over this killer city. We like them to enjoy themselves when we visit properties with our clients, so we make a conscious effort to get to know them and treat them with the same respect and friendliness as we do our clients. At the end of the day, we understand that us helping you helping us is just one big cycle, so why not form lasting relationships as we help one another grow?

As a still fairly new business in the Dallas area, it’s truly a wonder we’ve found the success we have. In 2014 alone, we have grossed over $1 million, a number we more than doubled from our first year of business. We tell you that not out of pride, but out of humility and appreciation for all those relationships we have been able to foster. Without the clientele we’ve built and the relationships at properties we’ve maintained, it would not have been possible.

So, with all our hearts, thank you. We can’t wait to see what 2015 holds working with y’all.
