Dallas Date Ideas To Try Out This Fall
Whether you’re playing the dating scene or you need to spice up the current love life, coming up with date ideas can be a pain. Don’t worry though, Dallas is full of awesome things to do! It doesn’t matter if you prefer bar-hopping, getting your fitness on, or diving into the foodie scene – there’s options for everyone. Here’s a few date ideas that you should try out this fall!!
Get Your Inner Foodie on at Klyde Warren Park
Did someone say picnic? Grab a blanket and forget packing the food; you can get that once you get there. Klyde Warren Park often have food trucks that surround the park so you will have plenty of options to choose from – even dessert! The date options don’t end at picnics, though. There is always other things going on here; from art performances to fitness events (did someone say yoga on the lawn?! Yass.). Best of all, fall weather makes this spot perfect for afternoon dates.
Bowling is Better when Food and Drinks are Involved
Whether you want an evening or mid-day date idea, bowling always works. Just make sure you’re hungry. The Bowlounge is open from 11:00am – midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, so head over there for lunch or dinner. They have a full menu of delicious eats and a bar that boasts 40 taps and craft cocktails! Best of all, it’s located in the Design District, so it’s a cheap Uber ride from any of our favorite central Dallas apartments.
Get Your Fitness on at White Rock Lake
The cool weather makes White Rock Lake the perfect destination to get your fitness on with your other half. We’ve all seen those instagram #fitcouples and secretly want to be them (at least until we see pizza). Well, now we can officially try to be them. Best of all, it isn’t a sauna outside so it’s actually enjoyable to go for a run, bike, or even break out the roller blades. Or, if you’re a little more laid back, a romantic walk or picnic is cool, too!!
Go to Improv in Addison
If you want to venture out of Central Dallas, head up to Addison for a good laugh. The Improv Comedy Theater has different shows depending on the night of the week. Be sure to check out their website to find one you like. They also have a restaurant, so don’t sweat over the dinner options.
Check Out the Museum Scene
Downtown Dallas has several museums which make for an informational day date for sure. The Dallas Museum of Art displays a whopping 22,000 pieces of art and general admissions is FREE. There is also the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. This one is $19 per adult, but word on the street is it is totally worth it if you’re into the science-y things. If you’re into aviation you need to head over to the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Here you can experience the history of flight, see the Apollo 7 spacecraft (for a limited time), and explore over 35,000 artifacts. There are plenty more in the DFW area, but these three are right here in the heart of Dallas that we thought you’d enjoy!!
