Hi, y’all! Dallasites101 here to wish you a happy November! We’re officially in the thick of the autumn season with this cool weather and Thanksgiving right around the corner. If you haven’t been able to cultivate the fall vibes or are looking for some ways to explore Fort Worth this season, we’ve curated a Funky Town fall bucket list to get you started!
Read on for 5 ways to spend the fall in Fort Worth, with lists of apartments near each attraction in case you want to be near the action.
SEE FALL FOLIAGE AT THE BOTANIC GARDENS
One of the best parts about fall is the changing colors, and you can get your foliage fix with a stroll through the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens! The gardens are decorated with pumpkins and other fall decor and it’s so beautiful to walk through with plenty of photo ops!
Pro tip: Their Fall Japanese Festival is November 13-14 in the Japanese Garden with dancers, martial arts, food trucks, and more!

GET COZY AT A CAFE WITH A SEASONAL DRINK
We love to cultivate all the cozy vibes at a coffee shop and what says “fall” better than a Pumpkin Spice Latte?! Visit the adorable Roots Coffeehouse for a PSL with a homemade smash-up of pumpkin and cookie butter. Not into pumpkin? Enjoy the Amarena with cherry almond syrup and espresso, or a chai and apple cider drink topped with whipped cream and cinnamon! There’s really no wrong choice at Roots.

INDULGE IN SEASONAL TREATS
Holidays are right around the corner and that means endless desserts and sweet treats! Our favorite place to stop by for pie, cupcakes, muffins, or fresh-baked cookies is Stir Crazy Baked Goods! Their seasonal treats include mini pumpkin cheesecakes, pumpkin maple, and cinnamon caramel cupcakes, and pumpkin scones!

Established in 1849, there should be no surprise there are endless stories, paranormal activity, and spooky moments all throughout The Stockyards! Halloween might be over, but Cowtown Wineryhosts ghost tours every Saturday through all of the Stockyards’ infamous haunted scenes including the Cadillac Hotel, Miss Molly’s B&B, where the shootouts took place, and more!
