Basically everything about Henderson makes us happy. Here at Smart City we have quite a few agents that live in this neighborhood, including our owner!!

Henderson apartments have an average walk score in the 80’s. It’s trendy and hip, without the outrageous Uptown prices. Tons of stuff to walk to and a hot spot for young professionals just moving to Dallas. Being located right off either side of Highway 75 means that you’ll still be just minutes from Downtown Dallas, right near Uptown, Oak Lawn, and super close to Lower Greenville. Whether you’re browsing the racks the the varying boutiques, crushing a pizza at Fireside Pies or unwinding with a beer on Old Monk’s patio, Henderson has plenty of promise to keep you pumped about your new neighborhood! Plus, Ubers are cheap from here and you can get to all the best stuff for like $8.

Home to some of the newest apartments in Dallas, this is another reason why we love Henderson! Most of the properties were built within the last few years, and all of them have the luxury finish outs that everyone desires these days. Plus, walkability is a huge win, and these Henderson apartments are in the sweetest location.

Nearby healthy grocery stores also draw people into this neighborhood. Sprouts and Trader Joe’s are a few of the stores near the Henderson neighborhood and can keep you on your health kick! Plus, you still have Kroger a few streets away for everything else. If you wander down Henderson to Ross Ave, you’ll find some of our favorite local hangouts such as Barcadia, an arcade bar with good drink specials and cheap bar food (always a win), and the Whippersnapper, a divey bar with a jam packed dance floor. Henderson is definitely the best place to live for proximity to Uptown yet still walking distance to some great local bars. And don’t forget about Jake’s Burgers (yeah, we like burgers a LOT), and they have an awesome patio to chill for some good drinks as well!

For food, a must-try is Gemma. It’s been rated the number one restaurant in Dallas and they have amazing farm-to-table food, killer wine and it’s a cozy, intimate vibe. We’re also obsessed with Toasted, a coffee shop that has all different kinds of toast! For sports bars, the Skellig is the place to be on Sundays. If you’re looking for dessert, definitely try out Milk + Cream, where they’re serving up a scoop of ice cream between two warm donuts!

From restaurants to shopping, you’ll be close to it all. There is a small neighborhood feel to all of the establishments here. From grabbing a cup of coffee to a beer after work, you’re sure to see a friendly face! And us here at Smart City Apartment Locating can find you the perfect Henderson apartment that fits all your needs.

Don’t just take our word for it. See what our friends say!
