Dallas-based apartment locating service, Smart City, has teamed up with its hometown MLB franchise to help players, employees, and fans find the space to be themselves. Despite having expanded to six states and ten cities, Smart City’s DFW market continues to be its busiest, contracting over 150 licensed agents and leasing an average of 1600+ clients per month this quarter. Through this partnership, the Rangers have direct access to Smart City’s National Property Success Manager, ensuring everyone they relocate to the DFW area is able to receive prompt, premiere service from a Smart City locator while searching for their new apartment.
“As the state’s leading name in apartment locating, we’re really proud to link arms with the biggest name in Texas baseball,” says Smart City’s Director of Marketing, Hannah Reardon. At present, the Texas Rangers fan base totals 6.3 million people across the nation, 2.1 million of them residing in Texas. “We’re in the business of helping people” Reardon continues, “and we know this partnership is going to enable us to help even more people than we’d be able to on our own.”
All aspects of the partnership are done contractually and include a variety of co-branded advertising, giveaways, and sponsored social media segments. Smart City’s goal is to utilize these assets to increase brand awareness and become the top choice of apartment locating services for even more of the area’s renters.
