Nature aside, there’s plenty to see and do in the Northwest Austin area. Both the Arboretum and Domain shopping and entertainment districts are close by—there you’ll be able to shop upscale retail and staples like Whole Foods and Target. There are also movie theaters and a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from. You can also take a short drive further north to check out the Austin Aquarium and the Lago Vista area at Lake Travis!
